BRAG has provided intensive training for recreational and competitive athletes in the sports of gymnastics, cheerleading, and trampoline & tumbling since 2014. We strive to maximize each individual athlete's potential and provide them with the confidence they will need to face the many challenges in life. We have been blessed to have an overwhelming level of interest in our programs which we continually seek to improve with the help of our experienced staff in our new custom designed facility. Whether your athlete is new to the sport or a seasoned competitor, we have several options available to find just the right fit. We accept new enrollments throughout the year and offer free trials to new customers. Please refer to our Recreational Classes and Events tabs for information about our class and camp options. We also offer open gym, birthday parties, pre-school themed parties, day camps, and private lessons.
The Bull Run Academy of Gymnastics 2021 Summer Camps are now open for enrollment. To view camp descriptions and enrollment options, click on the Camps link below or click on the Events tab to the left and select Camps.
The Bull Run Academy of Gymnastics 2020-2021 School Year Session is open for immediate enrollment. Students may enroll at any time during the session. Space in the classes continue to be limited due to Governor Northam's occupancy restrictions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. As he loosens the occupancy restrictions, we will increase the sizes of the classes and offer additional classes.
Currently, we are not hosting Open Gym or Birthday Parties due to COVID-19. When the status of these activities changes we will update our customers here, via email, and on Facebook. Hopefully, it won't be too long!
During Virginia's mandated COVID-19 pandemic closure, we thoroughly ventilated our facility, cleaned it with COVID-19 killing solutions, and upgraded the air conditioning units with MERV-13 level filters. With resumption of operations, our janitorial service cleans the common areas regularly, we continuously clean the high touch areas of the facility throughout the day, fog our facility nightly with a COVID-19 preventative solution, conduct temperature checks of customers and staff upon arrival at the facility, and modified the process for the students to enter and exit the building through different doors.
We ask that any customer who is not feeling well, is displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or has come in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 not enter our facility until cleared to do so by a physician and/or the state of Virginia. This same restriction applies to the BRAG staff as well. We ask that students wash their faces, hands, and feet prior to coming to the facility as an additional precautionary measure. Also, we have temporarily closed our viewing area, but parents can view the classes through the numerous windows along the front of our facility. Each family is required to fill out a COVID-19 Questionnaire prior to their first class. There is a link to the questionnaire on our FAQ Tab.
Our staff will wear face masks in accordance with CDC/Virginia guidelines and personal preference. We ask that our customers do the same. We will practice social distancing to the best of our ability, but please keep in mind that staff members may have to violate the social distancing rules while spotting a student on an apparatus to prevent a injury.
BRAG is now hiring recreational class and developmental program instructors. Recreational class instructor applicants do not need to have previous coaching experience to apply. This is a great first job opportunity for former gymnasts and cheerleaders. Pay and benefits will be based on applicant's level of experience. Please forward resumes that outline your specific gymnastics, cheerleading, and/or any previous coaching experience to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Open Gyms are not being offered at this time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. When available, Open Gym is conducted on Saturdays from 2:00-4:00pm. Both BRAG members and non-members, age 5 years old and above, can attend. Non-members must provide a fully completed Liability Release Form to attend. A downloadable copy of the Liability Release Form is available at the bottom of our FAQ page. The prices to attend Open Gym are $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
